We
feel that 10 days on the ground in Tanzania is a minimum requirement
for a safari. You need to factor in travel time to and from East Africa
as well, so for some, 10 days on safari will mean almost 2 weeks away
from home. If you're trip is a combination of Kenya and Tanzania,
or you simply don't have the time for more than a week, we can show
you our best areas in about 7 days - though you will certainly leave
feeling that you could have done with a longer stay.
Safaris of two weeks duration in Tanzania are ideal and more than
75% of the trips we do are of this length. This allows for some recovery
time from your international travel and the chance to visit several
locations without finding your selves packing and traveling every
other day.
3 week safaris are great if you have
the time and allow for an in depth experience that includes a variety
of activities for reasonable lengths of time. We arrange one or two
of these each year and they often will include Zanzibar, a Kilimanjaro
Climb or a lengthy walking trip, with a 10 day or 2 week safari to
the National Parks. |
